;76764370]I was just trying to get all my ducks in a row, but it may be better to wait to see what happens.

And as regards stopping all debt collection activities, received 5 letters since the date of the decision, from 3 separate agencies. The last 2 within 3 days of each other.
As I said, and the ombudsman site explains, it's up to you as to which route you wish to adopt in getting the remedy implemented where the supplier has not done so. As this is a moneysaving site, I know which one I would urge taking :money:

With due respect, and now having read your other thread and the questions you are still asking in this new thread, it seems you are perhaps in something over your head. Whilst I know you are simply trying to assist your elderly friend, it may be time to explain to that friend that you may not be the best person to assist them, and that they would probably get better advice elsewhere, such as from Citizens Advice :)

Been to Citizens Advice once already to stop Shell Energy replacing the meter with a pre-payment one, but have contacted them again two days ago asking for advice. Will probably need yet another trip to see them. The amount of time and energy spent on this debacle is unbelievable, all for a debt not only not owed, but so obviously not owed.
