SWTL Text message but no parcel

  • I have had a message today from SWTL, I've checked my emails and outstanding orders and nothing. Reading the above I think it was a survey I filled in earlier that said I would be put in for a prize draw of £1,000 with no cost except filling out the survey. These 'gifts' could be from participating companies as it does say there are lots of smaller 'prizes' available. Just a theory!

I think you may have something there since we are all compers!

I had a RM text telling me to expect a SWLT delivery. Hooray I thought, that'll be the ####Plug I ordered in desperation to stem a dirty leak. Sadly it wasn't, but it was the leather EDC belt pouch I had ordered from WWW.NEWCHIC.COM. Hopefully this may help you ascertain the origin of your message, unless that mystery was already solved by a reply I didn't bother to read?

Either way, you all got to have a chuckle at my RawlPlug requirements. 😬
This is the answer I needed, couldn’t figure out what SWLT was but got notifications on email and text. It’ll be the T-shirt  I ordered from Newchic!
  • Glad it wasn't major issue for you guys but be weary if it is anything expensive it could be a scam never give it back.

  • You guys are aware of the existence of spam/phishing texts, and brushing scams, right?

  • Just to reassure people, SWTL is a legitimate courier & not all Royal Mail messages are spoofs!
I got an email & a phone banner message today telling me I'd received a parcel from them. I tried using the Royal Mail tracking app with the tracking code provided & was asked to enter a post code. Tried mine, failed & was beginning to think it may be some sort of genuine looking spoof. Was also expecting a parcel which was being delivered to a local "click & collect" corner shop so tried their post code & this failed too.
Tried the tracking code on the Royal Mail website again & looking at the "map of delivery location" it was the corner shop I was expecting a parcel at despite the postcode not working earlier.
