SWTL Text message but no parcel

Received a text message yesterday to say that my parcel from online seller SWTL was due today, with link to royal mail track and trace. It has now delivered apparently, but not to me. Track and trace does not show me a delivery address either. I seem to recall a competition run by a logistics company recently and there is a firm called SWT Logistics (googled) but I can't check entered competitons back more than 12 pages (putting page numbers beyond this in the search box does not work)

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Hi Custardy, I have decided that it's probably just that... pity, a little win would be nice to give me some incentive.
  • I had it 2 weeks ago! I was expecting 2nd class letter with nail files from ebay and received tracking number from Royal Mail and it said SWTL online seller. I thought it may be a win not just ebay order but it was not. I received just my order.

Aha! so they are a bit careless with their typing of phone numbers!

Thanks wrrrrmrrr, I did see them on ebay when I was googling
  • Hi, I have a similar problem, this has happened about 6 times from the same seller and again this morning! I contacted Royal Mail and they were unable to help. I know it’s not a major problem but it’s just a little annoying

Its the sender that provides RM with the phone number/emails address.
    Its all done by software.
Its likely the person who originally placed the order miskeyed their own phone number.
  • I received a parcel today, the return address was swtl at Bardon Hill. I have no recollection of sending for this item, there is no invoice or order with it. It looks like a pair of large vacuum bags. Any ideas
