Unless the ASDA is in the middle of no where, I'm sure other petrol station brands are available near by.

I fully expect that Visa & Mastercard will make this stick this time.

They want the same card rules in Europe. UK is the only one that for P@P auth for a small amount and not the max you can take.

Funny how in the UK they go running to the press. Rest of Europe just get on and deal with it.

Not hard to avoid the high auth. Just do not use pay at the pump.... On which i get really Peed off with people using the few pay@pump and then walking inside to pay, rather than use the one's that do not have the option to pay@pump.
