Tesco Current Account - When will it be back

An £800 TV bought would get you 100 points, a point is equivalent to 1p, so spend £800 to get £1, hmm...
And if you bought said TV using a cashback credit card you'd get £4
What the Tesco account is good for is if you do a bit of investing. I use mine to top up my S&S ISA & still get points0 -
Re the Tesco petrol, @£1.26 pl as opposed to Asda @£1.22 pl more recently, I stick with spending my vouchers on days out. A £5 voucher usually gives you on average £15 worth of vouchers/tickets if you can find what you want on their deminishing list of venues.0

No doubt they will be back in the current account market sometime soon - they sold their mortgage book to focus on 'day to day banking'.
I'd imagine this is the reason why they have stopped taking applications for the time being, they just don't need new business right now.0
