  • Decided to kick myself up the a**e

I rang Natwest to get a settlement figure on my loan and it came out at £21135.25! which is a lot but less than £24975.76 in fact its £3840.51 less!

So here is a question am I £3840.51 better off? or is that just wishful thinking?

Obviously that only counts if I pay it off now but it still makes me feel better!!!

So I could be Debt free and have £12000 in the bank in 2013!!! Very wishful thinking!! but better than a kick in the b*****ks

  • Just done some more figures

    Wage: £23400 net

    loan: £4464 a year

    Maintance: £5400 a year ( 450 month)

Which leaves: £13536 to live on (1128 a month )

If I pay off my credit cards in a year

    CC total £7485 ( £623 a month )

Which leaves : £6051 left over to live on ( £504.25 a month)

Is this really possible? Can I pay for everything and be credit card free in a year??

I know alot of people think it will be easy to do and there are people doing the £4000 a year challenge, but honestly how realistic is it?

  • Hopefully only got to buy milk today!

other than that should be a NSD

He's a question, would it in the long run be cheaper to buy a cow?? I wonder what the saving would be? Would it be like solar panels which apparently pay for themselves in 10 years
