It certainly doesn't count!
OH and i have been living together for 10 years. I've not once had a Valentine's Day present / card etc.
OH has very strong views about VD (as he calls it) and says it's a commercial marketing exercise, and he'd far rather be romantic and loving all year round rather than 1 day a year.
I agree with him....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Blimely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Thats the move over
I haven't had the net for a month, finally sorted out all the bills and redirection etc.
Moved into rented house and my house is now rented, Didn't manage a no spend FEB due to the move and setting up home costs. Will try again soon as I need to let my account settle down, and check all old direct debits have stopped and new ones started.
GF and I have decided to open a joint account and pay all wages into that and all bills get paid from that. We then pay ourselves a "wage" into our personal accounts for individual monthly spending. That should really help make our finances a lot clearer.
Also we are saving £500 a month to hopefully solve a divorce issue ref our house.

Sounds as if everything's going really well! Glad to hear that the baby's growing well.
Why not breastfeed instead of paying through the nose for a inferior product? We spend precisely £0 on formula milk on our DS (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
gf has a very well paid job and can't take too much time off work, so baby will be in nursey after christmas

It's possible, I promise. I had my first day back at work when DS was 5 weeks old, then back part-time from when he was 3 months, and full-time from 6 months. And he only had breastmilk the whole time.headinthesand wrote: »and breast milk / formula is a massive debate as to quailty argued by science and mid wives across the world neither comming up with a clear answer that isn't based on personal opinion
Sorry to say - there's a very, very clear answer indeed....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Have to back up neverdespairgirl here. Breast is bar far the best even if your GF does it for a few weeks it will help the baby.:j0

at the end of the day its up to my gf, I know from past children how hard breast feeding can be so i am not pressuring her to do anything she doesn't want to do so her decission will be final.
but I do agree that is probably would save a bomb but my gf's sanity also needs to be saved!! lol!!!DEBT AT LBM £32595.60!!!DEBT 26/3/08:£28532.25

Absolutely, as it will be her who does it, rather than you! I can see it's not your choice.
I just wanted to point out that it *is* possible even when going back to work, and better to do it for a few weeks then switch to bottles rather than not do it at all.
Best of luck with the new baby!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
