Independent Appeals Service rejection

I've just had my appeal rejected by the IAS. They informed me that they only review appeals on technical issues not mitigating circumstances. Wished I'd appreciated this as I've just really accepted paying £100 rather than the discounted £60. I received a parking ticket for my ticket being upside down on the dashboard. It was during the storms in November and the ticket must have blown over when getting out of the car. The appeal accepted that I had purchased a valid ticket and the evidence I provided regarding the weather on the day however I did not conform to the rules therefore rejected. £100 for a £3 ticket I had actually purchased, anything else I can do?

Nope , the IAS is a kangaroo court and should not have been tried , neither of the appeals service accept mitigation
Complain to the landowner , then await court papers within 6 years0 -
Writing to the landowner and getting a reply may take some time, will the parking fine just keep on increasing as I ignore the threatening letters? The wife gets very twitchy when red letters start coming through the post !!0

Why do you say that, it isn't true is it?
What does the "newbies thread" tell you about appealing to the IAS?0 -
Doesn't matter what the figure is on paper , only what a judge decidesstoneylands wrote: »Writing to the landowner and getting a reply may take some time, will the parking fine just keep on increasing as I ignore the threatening letters? A typical loss in court is about £200 or less0 -

The IAS are the uk's biggest scam headed off by the highly incompetent Gladstones Solicitors.
Do you still have the ticket or proof of payment.???
The IAS ARE JUST A JOKE and a real court would see through their stupidity and scamming activity0 -
Yep I have the ticket as proof.0

Who is the parking company please ?0 -
As you have got the ticket it's worth fighting your corner. If that had been a council car park they would have cancelled the ticket.
Fluttering ticket cases are often decided in favour of the defendant but court is a lottery. IAS make a criteria based decision.

I’m struggling to find who owns the car park as the signs all refer to Premier parking solutions. I’ve put the name of the car park into google and again the searches go to the dreaded PPS. More digging required0

Ask the council who pays the business rates on the car park. That is often the landowner0
