    Morning :hello:

I'm happy with what I managed to get done yesterday :D Still a long way to go but heading in the right direction :T

Paid stuff today then meeting an ex-colleague for a catch up over pub grub - so minimal flying time, but I've made my bed and I will feed the birds and put out the recycling before I trot off to work.

    Have a good day

Morning all, just checking in here.

At home until 13.30 then working until late so plan is to fly this morning.

    Kitchen cleared
    WM 1
Pellet stoves cleaned, reloaded and back on
Bathroom and bedroom windows open (better go and close them as it's been more than half an hour and it's freezing)
    Bed made, clothes picked up
    Loo wiped
Priorities for today, admin and a quick vacuum round

    See you all later

Thank you for the list Valli.
    Hi, sexymouse, welcome back.

After a good start, one day flying, I did nothing yesterday except work with DH to get a second hand vacuum cleaner working. We've cobbled together our old one and the new one. It works!

I pledged to buy nothing new except underwear in Jan 17. I have since bought new mattresses and a present for a friend which was locally made, everything else has been pre-owned. I also sometimes buy parts new to repair or keep things working.

Just thought I should explain why we spent hours yesterday getting a vacuum cleaner to work.

    Morning

Up and running here (well not literally). Gonna crack on as need to keep warm. It's cold so I'm rugged up and we don't keep the heating on in the daytime during the week so need to get busy.

Back laters with what I have done

PS Love the nothing (much) new since 2017, that's amazing.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

A quick update whilst I have a coffee. I’m sitting in the sunny LR as it’s so much warmer than the rest of the house.

Wm x 2 done. Clean clothes sorted. Recycling out. En-suite cleaned and bathroom given a s&s. Chair vacuumed and successfully manoeuvred from one bedroom to another. Our bedroom cleaned as I had to unearth bedding from underbed storage which in turn pulled out dust galore.
Just DD’s neglected corner to clean now that the chair isn’t there. It’s her birthday at the weekend so she is having friends to stay. They have the ex RoD bedroom to themselves hence the furniture moving.

I have to say that I think that I peaked at about 9.30...:o

Jazee - fingers crossed on the crumblies.
  • Morning ladies  Skinty is reporting for duty.

Started with cats "bathrooms" first, although litter picked several times a day, (with 5 cats, its an absolute must) I have resolved to get the cats down from using 5 trays (which makes the weekly tray wash seem to drag on forever) down to just 2 trays and wash them out every other day which is much more manageable mentally and physically.

So after a week of playing "musical trays" and swiping a tray away from underneath their little noses, I am down to just 2 trays and *finally* every furbaby is using the same cheap cat litter. Money Saving for the Win! (Currently using Franks Litter from Mr S)

Vampires have taken their vials from me at the Drs, new WM has been delivered, so will get that plumbed in for a whole lot less than AO charges, beer and pizza are the currency of choice for this one!

Going to have a nice stress free bath with a fizzy bomb I got as a present, as I cant do anything strenuous with blood test arm for a few hours, whack some veg in soupmaker...Finally starting to get the hang of this priorities lark!.......care for myself first, then I will care for the house.

After all, a bathroom is easier to clean if its steamy to begin with.....at least that's my theory!

Right I will be back at Noon with a progress report
The cold never bothered me anyway

    VAT done and submitted
Business bank account check, stuff printed off
My credit card statement checked, receipts shredded
    Ironing done
Re hoovered upstairs, something to do with the cat shredding a tissue up. Only to come downstairs and find him 'killing' his mouse, which now only has one ear, so cleared that up!
Waiting for some one to call me back who was 'away from her desk' over an hour ago........... what is she doing going for a walk.........
