Can I run an oven and induction hob off a 32A supply

I'm afraid the answer as above is that you can't and what you should really look to do is install a new power supply for the new hob and leave the oven as it is.
The new oven supply will be a radial circuit not a ring as incorrectly stated above. A radial circuit runs from the fuseboard/consumer unit to the item of equipment (and in some instances to others) in a line, a ring circuit runs from the consumer unit to a piece of equipment (usually a power socket), then to the next, then to the next etc. and then back to the consumer unit.
As mentioned above the MCB won't provide protection to the circuit very well under overload conditions, its more for short circuit faults and direct contact (electric shocks).
As already advised consult a competent electrician (although there arn't may of those about these days....).I have a lot of problems with my neighbours, they hammer and bang on the walls sometimes until 2 or 3 in the morning - some nights I can hardly hear myself drilling0 -

It's borderline, but most devices have a few % margin of allowance, so it should be OK.
Even at the lowest permitted UK voltage, it'd be drawing lass than 3A over the MCB's stated rating.
At worst, the MCB might trip, when all the rings were running at 100%.0 -
Google this question on the IET electricians forums and the answer is it will be fine in domestic situations. As stated in post #7 Diversity can be applied to cooking appliances.
But to do so safely may require some extra, hefty non-domestic-standard terminal blocks, for connecting both appliances' cables to the single cooker switch point.
OP should/must seek advice from a competent electrician rather than rely on any forum strangers.0 -

There's nothing particularly funny about straight facts.0 -

I'm sure there is at least one member on this thread that will be glad when the new forum removes all the thanksI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

Check the hob you are buying. I had a terrible ceramic hob when I moved. So decided to replace it. I also had an oven that had seen better days so decided to swap that out too. Anyway, I had a 32a circuit so my double under oven would have on paper used a large portion of the available capacity. Basically my old hob used the 32a circuit and my oven had a 13a supply. The oven now takes the 32a supply and the hob whilst capable of maxing out at 7. Something kw is set at the moment to use 3kw. This is until I get round to having the house rewired. So with the hob you put a ring on boost and then if you put another ring on it splits the power. Because it's working on pulses you dont really notice the drop in power. I think it would only really be noticeable if you had 4 rings trying to boil full pans of water all starting at the same time. Some people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!0

In a similar set up to OP, electrician said no.0
