You're right, which is a bit of a !!!!!!.  At least I've got a ticket refund to look forward to.

Lufthansa have announced that they're chopping 25% of their short haul, european flights, so I'll keep my fingers crossed that one of my 4 flights to/from Rome is one that gets dropped.

p.s. every cloud has a silver lining - I'll get to see Sale in the Premiership Cup Final, which I was going to miss.

Then again, I have just seen the back page of The Times on the BBC Sport website and they are claiming it is off!  As of 9.05am absolutely no mention of this on the BBC Sport rugby page

I've a feeling that getting my ticket refund has just got a bit more complicated - unless Lufthansa broaden their free rebooking offer to include Rome and change the date criteria.

But then my rebooked operation will kybosh things again.

Ah well, never mind. Worse thuings happen at sea etc, etc
