Safest place to park a SORN car long term worry free?

Car parks next to Housing authority places may have clauses in the tenants rent agreements stating cars can only be stored if taxed, insured etc.
Neighbours often know whose car is whose and spot visiting cars.. they may keep an eye out for a car that appears to be dumped in one of their spaces.
If their is competition for spaces, or residents have their usual spot it is even more likely to be discovered that a non resident is parking there.
This doesn't sound like a good plan.
Do any of your neighbours have space to store it whilst you sell it?
They may or may not charge.. my neighbour uses my parking space out behind my garage as i don't drive and this way I feel safer with someone going round by the garage main door etc.. who can keep an eye on things.0 -
Yet another thread from the OP proving they live in some sort of parallel universe with a limited grip on reality.0

15 years sat outside. I'm not convinced it will be worth much0 -
'Investment' cars where a car is bought for £1000 and sold for £15000 sound great until you take into account inflation, storage and maintenance costs. You would need to start this journey with an empty, secure barn or something, not stressing over the SORN and insurance.0

Park it on the road next to moving traffic
Plus I can't afford insurance on the ST220 and all these expenses mentioned in this thread.
Any car that sits outside for 10+ years will be covered in algae & rust and have seized brakes, likely stuck clutch and need all belts, tyres and flexible pipes replacing at a minimum. Remember you'd be selling it as a project for restoration!
If you kept in a dry garage it would be worth more, but still will have been off the road for years and need significant work, and clearly the garage would cost you - probably more than the car has gained in value (if any).
I'd suggest you sell it ASAP and hope you get more than £1100 !0 -

I would suggest:
Who would want an old Mondeo ST in preference to a newer Focus ST?
Your estimate of it's potential for appreciation is wildly over optimistic
Genuine classic cars e.g. Porsche 911 have fallen in value recently.
If you can't afford insurance  you should not have bought it.
You will be really popular with residents who cannot find a space because your old banger is abandoned in their car park.
Your £10,000 "investment" is actually a money pit."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Fifty what?
Pence probably.A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".0
