happy kitties I also have presents from last Xmas which I still haven’t given out. Im going to need to re-wrap most of them, as the wrapping is looking a bit worse for wear now.
The Salvation Army got back to me about the toy appeal and I can drop the presents off this week. I definitely want to do better next year.I bought a £1.50 fruit and veg box from Lidl today and it had some sprouts and parsnips in it, which I’m going to freeze for Xmas Day. I need to write a list of foods so I can keep on top of it all, especially as the shops are all getting their foods in.2 -
Hi I hope to catch up at the weekend, mum is currently ill so I'm round there every day and there was a family funeral just over a week ago so London son and his wife were staying with me. I often think of you all.

Angela I hope your Mum gets better quickly, also sorry about your recent loss.I wrapped my first bundle of Xmas presents today. I’ve realised, that I don’t like wrapping. I always thought that I didn’t like wrapping because I never had enough time to do it, but I had plenty of time today and I still hated it.So, going forward, I’m going to try happy kitties method of wrapping as I go along, or at least wrapping every few months.4

Ebay are doing additional discounts for Black Friday and I managed to save £4 on two presents. Not a huge saving but still welcome.

Anglea sorry to hear about ur mum, I hope she is feeling better soon and sorry to hear about ur recent loss
chanie how I hate wrapping, I just do not like it at all. I’m waiting for a PCR result so grounded in the house. My plan is to get some more wrapping done tonight, well def one thing of DDs that I keep putting off. There is always one present I don’t like doing.
Haven’t done much else but I might also get the happy last Christmas presents out, just check them over after what u said Chanie. Just make sure that none need rewrapping and pop into little gift bags. Never thought I would get to see these presents go.Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Forgot to say good news about the Salvation Army Chanie. Some items are better than no items, I know everything will be greatly appreciated.
I found out with my new shoebox collector, she runs a hub with mass production of shoeboxes happening and collecting, then packing them up into all the bigger delivery boxes.
Ive decided one of my aims is to travel over next year and do at least one evening of volunteering with them. Left it abit late this year, but looking at the pictures they have a mean set up happening with fundraising for the boxes aswellDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

happy kitties how lovely of you to decide to volunteer with Link. I’m sure it’s something you will enjoy. I’ve already managed to get a couple of empty shoe boxes for the 2022 appeal and already have a few bits and pieces to begin filling them with, left over from Xmas 2020.This week, my plans are to go to Home Bargains and B&M for more presents and also to make my Christmas pudding.4

Chanie I didn’t realise it was a hub and I think they’ve boxed up into the big boxes for transport over a 1000 shoeboxes so far not including the ones they have been doing themselves so thought even if it’s a night of tea making, I will feel like I’ve done a very small bit to help them.U’ve given me an idea for Duncle next year, make some small Christmas puds for him. He loves them and I haven’t made a pudding for years, as no one else in the family likes Christmas pud but what a great present it would be for him.
Sorted out the happy last Christmas presents last night. Two presents did need rewrapping and they are now bagged into small bags ready to go next week. Also took the baubles off my late DMs tree that I’ve had in storage at mine. These are going to DDs and hoping to take the tree to the tip this week. Did think originally I could give it away and a friend did ask for it, but after taking the clingfilm off, it’s in no fit state. Also had to throw some of the decs. My DM after Christmas would just clingfilm it up after Christmas and shove it in the cupboard!!Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My plan today was to go to a different town centre to do some Christmas shopping, but I ended up meeting a friend for coffee and didn’t get anything done😂.
I ordered freezable drinking tankards for a couple of men, which arrived today and I wrapped them straightaway.Tomorrow, I’m visiting a relative to drop in last years Xmas presents and also this years - will be popping into Home Bargains and B&M on the way to get this years gifts.
I was re-wrapping last years gifts, as the wrapping is looking a bit worse for wear, so that I could drop them off to relative tomorrow. DD heard me rustling in my bedroom and asked me if I was wrapping gifts! Nothing gets past DD…3 -
My trip to HB and B&M wasn’t very productive. Although I managed to get some bits and pieces, much of the Xmas stock had sold out. I’m guessing it’s a combination of people shopping earlier and supply chain issues.
Today, I wrapped some more presents made my first Christmas pudding.3
