Santa’s challenge 2020 ...

I popped into B&M and noticed that they had started to put out their Xmas gifts. I don’t normally buy gift sets, but on the rare occasions I have seen something I like, it’s sold out. So, I’m going to have an early browse to keep an eye out. I did find lots of nice things in B&m last year like stocking fillers.
I bought some locally produced honey for my Mums Xmas food hamper. I’m really chuffed with it as we live in Greater London, so locally produced honey is a bit of a novelty - in fact, anything locally produced is a novelty.
I also bought OH a bottle of his favourite tipple, as it was on offer and wanted to get it in case there are shortages closer to Xmas ( which would mean it may not be on offer).
One thing I’m going to buy this year is Xmas kitchen roll and loo roll. I saw some last year, but didn’t get it when I saw it and then it sold out. I know it’s really random, but thought it would be a bit of a novelty for us.3 -
I managed to get a few bits from B&M today. I really like their Xmas gifts, having only really looked at them properly last Xmas.2

Chanie you made me smile about the locally produced honey for ur mum which I think is such a lovely touch, and that anything locally produced is a novelty. I’m the opposite end of the spectrum I live in Wales so besides rain and sheep, everything is locally produced!I really like the skillet set. I’ve got a birthday coming up which this would be brilliant for. Trouble is the B&M I have is in the next town so might do a visit and combine with popping into some other stores for a mooch.
Finally got another birthday present sent off-late again. Still not really feeling it with birthdays although I have 5 birthday bags of presents going back with DD this weekend. I just could not find one present anywhere. I searched high and low. Turns out it was right beside me all the time, just in a plain cardboard box which I thought had candles in it. I was so chuffed, DD just thought I was sad!I am itching to do some more Christmas wrapping, might do some tonight.Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Five gift bags of birthday presents now gone! The present that I had lost then found, I came to wrap it and it had disappeared again. Ended up with a replacement for that part of the present. Yesterday I was organising a parcel and what was behind it, the missing present. Will pop it away for next year as it is for a younger child and have several youngsters it would be ideal for or might mark it down for the same youngster as a next year present
I have finally started to wrap, it’s slow as I’m not a big fan of wrapping and I have to dig some items out but I have started.
I have set my sights for Friday to go into the next town for a nosy and shop. I am really looking forward to it. I have decided to take a trip to see if I can get two of the M+S glitter gins. I got one for DD last year and she hasn’t touched it, I think there is the start of a collection going to happen. Even better I have a voucher for £5 off, it’s the challenge now of whether I can get hold of one, never mind two. Will also pop into B+M to see if I can get the chocolate brownie skillet set. I’m excited to see the Christmas items starting to come out.

Chanie it was a baby shark toy so most of the time DD was met with either ‘I’ve lost the shark, found the shark to the shark has swum off and disappeared’ 😂😂
Managed to get two of the Marks light up gins. One for a birthday I had forgotten about who tried to buy last years Marks Christmas gin from me but it was for DD. This year one for friend and one for DD. A sales assistant was telling me they can’t keep them on the shelves, they are flying out and the sugarplum silver one is impossible to get hold of so i’m glad I managed to get what I wanted. I bought some Halloween Percy pig to put away for a friends little boy not realising they were free on my Sparks card and had a gift card I had forgotten about to use so that was used and I came out with a bagful having spent very little.
DD has asked me to go halves on a present for Duncle. Ive already got him something so said I would to finish it off but it’s going to be something that will possibly be a Black Friday deal. Just need to keep wrapping now. I would normally be done, very behind including my last shoebox which I just cannot get a shoebox forDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I picked up a load of clear plastic penciI cases in Tesco today for 25p each. I saw them in store and though they were a pretty good price and i was thinking what could I do with them? I decided I could fill them with small toys, sweets and stationery. I’ll give some to the toy appeal and the rest I’ll donate to DDs school.

Hi everyone. What is light-up gin?Chanie are you fully recovered from your illness now?Katiehound, it's so strange not to be reading about your cruises.I've had a visit from the London son and it was one of the visits where he seems to turn my life upside down in that he makes all sorts of unexpected decisions but doesn't tell me in advance what is happening. I still feel tired now even though he left on Wednesday as it feels like I was in a whirlwind.I haven't done anything for special occasions, in the past I would be doing that Christmas Countdown a number of us used to follow from the American site which was related to Mum2One's challenges but I can't seem to get going this year because everything is so different for me.I miss Mum2one and hearing all about her family. She always inspired me to make progress with her Santa monthly challenges.3

Angela lovely for you to pop back. Light up gin is sold in M&S and has lights in it, so it looks very pretty.
I had covid. It was actually pretty mild (a heavy cold), but more recently I’ve had a cough and my GP thinks it’s from when I had covid, so I need to go for a chest X-ray.3
