I am managing the estate of my late father, whose assets will pass to my mother. He was invested in various ISAs with Nationwide, Coventry Building Society, M&G, Barclays and Virgin Money. I want my mother to benefit from the APS in line with my Dad's ISAs, but have no idea which organizations are currently able to handle APS when setting up new ISAs.
Does anyone know of any good cash ISA deals with companies who can definitely handle APS?

Many providers (such as Nationwide or Santander) manage an APS situation by having a dedicated "inheritance isa" type product. These generally have very poor interest rates however once the APS is made then there is nothing stopping the customer then onward ISA transfering to a better rate via a normal ISA account.

As Alexland says, there is nothing to stop your mum opening an APS ISA with any provider, then having them transferred to another ISA provider with better rates. Obviously she shouldn't open a fixed rate/fixed term APS ISA and must ask new provider(s) to do the transfers.

Thanks for that. I hadn't thought about using Nationwide's "Inheritance ISA" as a stepping stone to another ISA account, as an easy way of securing the APS entitlement.0
