Sounds like ht elurgy has been doing the rounds, glad you're feeling much better today xx
Thanks PMO2. The joys of children all the germs they share with us! I've never as many colds and viruses etc, as I have since having LO. I seem to get more ill with them than she does!

I have found your diary and am ploughing through it in my spare time! You are doing so well
Not the same department, but both NHS, so I feel your pain there. Pharmacy are always bad guys. We always get the blame when patients are chomping at the bit to go home. "Sorry your meds haven't come up from pharmacy yet"- what they don't tell the patient is that's because they only sent it down half an hour ago, and not first thing in the morning when the Dr said that they were ready for home :rotfl:
Today has been a NSD.:j
I've finally got the total left on the HP debt too, so I need to go back and edit my earlier post with my debts listed so I have the starting totals.
My £20 from Prolific hit my account yesterday evening, so I've made a payment to the loan! For some reason it won't actually be debited from my account until the 29th of Jan  Good job I have YNAB now to know what money I have available and not just blithely spending because there is money in the account.
Been busy making birthday cards for tomorrow, MIL's birthday and needed a card off the LO. Happy with how they have come out, and cost me nothing to make as had all the supplies in the craft corner! Need to make a tag as well, for the present for birthday party LO is going tomorrow. Needed a break though, my neck is stiff and achy now. Put a chicken in the oven to roast, only a small bird, but will do dinner tonight, LO will go into a risotto, and I'll use the carcass to make some soup.
Right, better go peel some spuds! Keep plodding everyone.

Sooo tired this morning, LO woke up twice in the night then still wanted to get up at 7am this morning...feeling a bit like a zombie now.
Need to get motivated though as it's a busy day today. Its MIL's birthday, and LO has a birthday party to go to. So this morning she needs a bath, and I still need to wrap the presents, write the cards I made, and make a tag for birthday present. MIL is having an Amazon voucher so she can buy books for her kindle. OH is sorting that out
LO is at party 2-4pm then we come home and go round SIL's house for 5pm as she is hosting the family for dinner for MIL. So plus point is I don't have to cook dinner tonight! Won't stay too late though, as LO is going to be knackered tonight, and has nursery tomorrow, and I need to sort out for work tomorrow too.
Now that I'm in my February paypacket I'll probably do a January round up post later today or tomorrow, so I can see how much has been paid of the debts this month, and where my saving pots are at.
I'm hoping doing this monthly might help me to realise I am making progress, even if it doesn't feel like it day in day out when not much is happening. Need to nag OH to pay his half of the bill money into the JA today, then I can allocate all the money on YNAB and I'll know where we are up to.
I still need to write my February budget post on here too, if nothing else, seeing it written down here will help keep me accountable so I stick to it!

Hi Eyebright,
Wow you have got busy day! I feel quite guilty reading your plans for the day because I am the total opposite today! Hope it all goes well for you and you have some 'me time' to put your feet up tonight
Thanks Frank, yesterday was super busy and I'm feeling it this morning. LO enjoyed her party though.
I think I'm still run down from being ill last week. Feel exhausted this morning, and work will be hell as the person I work with in our little team has the day off today.
Need to go and finish getting ready for work and get LO up for nursery. Will pop back later and do a proper update.

Whoops didn't get back onto the forums yesterday, yesterday ended up running away with me...
I do need to report a spend though  after a mighty no spend weekend which I was so proud of, I only went and spent £17 yesterday. I think subconsciously I was rewarding myself for being so good with NSD's last week. So very annoyed with myself. It's all budgeted for, as I gave myself £50 pocket money for the month, but now that means I have £17 less for things I actually do need/want this month. Sigh...
Still lesson learned, and I have reflected on my subconscious behaviour, so hopefully I won't be repeating myself in the future. I know this is a process, I can't expect to completely change over a decades worth of bad behaviour overnight! So I have forgiven myself, and will do better today. We need some more milk and a new dummy for LO, as her current one has broken. But that's all I plan on spending today.

I meant to post this originally on Sunday, but lack of time has meant I'm late posting. Hoping posting my meal plan for the week will ensure I stick to it, and keep me away from naughty take-aways and ensure I don't buy food I don't need. I really want to get food spends down.
I've got plenty in for lunches too and some ideas I've got jotted down are:
Prawn chinese style curry
Halloumi Nando's style flatbread
Tuna Mayo JP
Leek + potato soup (got some bendy leeks that need using up!)
Halloumi + potato masala
All things I can make at home to have, or if it's a work day I can take in with me and warm up.
