Have a contract with ID Mobile. My data has been accessed and my phone number which I have had for years has been ported to a random person at a random company and I have been disconnected. I have just found there has been an attempted fraud on the bank that I set up the direct debit with originally so presumably they have all my information that I put on the application. Customer service in this matter appalling! They wont tell me the company my phone number has been ported to, and although said would get back to me haven't yet. Just sent final bill !!!

How do you know ID Mobile have had a data breach? I can see nothing in the news recently?
You should contact any organisation that has your mobile number for security texts immediately and contact ID to find out when/how the PAC/sim swap was requested and authorised.
That’s not necessarily the case. It could be that your data has been breached elsewhere but then allows someone to pass security with ID to make changes to your account.
Again, how do you know that? They won't tell you who has your number now as that would be a breach of GDPR.
As regards CS with iD Mobile, well that's why they're cheap I'm afraid.
Edit: Why don't you just call the number, no company is going to confirm who they are. Not that that will help you much.
