Hi, we're looking to use the scheme to buy our first house but having problems with getting a decision in principle. We've tried with a couple of the lenders which support the scheme but can only ascertain a verbal agreement. Can anyone who has been through this offer advice please! Would be a great help

Hi just wondering if anyone had applied since 01/04/21 and heard back yet. We got our application submitted 10.41 after the site being down. Have seen people have been getting the acceptance letter as early as the 02/04/21 but mostly all from Glasgow reigon. Just intrigued to how the system works is it in time order received that is processed?

We applied 01/04/21 as well but I'm not sure of the exact time since out FA did it, we have not heard anything yet. We're getting a new build which is close to finished so we are really hoping to get an answer quickly to avoid any delays at our end.

Hopefully we hear soon then we are in the same position buying a new build and it will be finished by the end of this month. I know it said on the email 5 working days longer with volume of applications but I called the help number today and the voiceover said its taking upto 30 days due to covid and only stay on of an emergency so I just hung up. I really hope not mortage has been accepted literally just waiting on this.

I’m exactly the same, mortgage was accepted 1st March. Applied 1st April for FHF in the first few hours of it opening but yet to hear back. I have only heard of a couple of people being accepted so far. Hopefully we all hear soon!

Update for us. We got our award letter this morning! So happy having that step done.
Fingers crossed you guys gets yours soon enough. We're in Edinburgh in case the processing time might differ over the country?

Aw great news congratulations peace of mind for you. I'm dundee so hoping that they might be getting closer than have seen a few Edinburgh people on Instagram today being accepted. Another sleepless night for me tonight lol
