Someone purposefully blocking my driveway

Hi,
Looking for some advice please.
There's someone who has recently taken to blocking my driveway on purpose.
The first time they did it (they are working on a property across the street), I called and got them a parking ticket. Since then, they have been purposefully blocking my driveway everyday. They have even called the local authority to come and give me a ticket when I parked across my driveway!!! They got my neighbour a ticket (he parks across his own driveway) and then told my neighbour that it was me that got them the ticket!! Today, they had a friend of theirs sit in the car to block my driveway when they were unable to!!
I have called the police and the police spoke with this person, but it doesn't seem to have had any effect.
Just to clarify, they are parking on the street blocking my dropped driveway.
If you need any further info, I'm happy to answer questions. It's been going on for over a week now!
Thanks in advance!

Is the 'builder' the owner of the property or just working on it ?
Is it subject to a planning application that stipulated conditions of work ?
Is your 'driveway' an official driveway or a kerb you drive over to get access to your property ?
How about taking a beer to the builder on Friday pm (or a tea/coffee before then) and asking them nicely ?0 -
You might think about taking action in the civil courts if you are being very much inconvenienced by this. The damages could amount to a lot more than a parking fine.0
-
Just to clarify, you got a parking ticket for parking across your own drive because you where trying to prevent this builder from parking there who you had previously called to get a parking ticket for parking across your drive?0

In simple terms grow up and be the bigger person - if in the space of the week it's degenerated to the point of people reporting people to get them tickets then it's not going to end without a change of behaviour from all parties

1. From the conversation with the police, it emerged that this man is the owner of the property, which he rents out.
2. I don't know.
3. It's an official driveway with a dropped kerb.
Very nice you telling me to grow up, however, you're talking about a burly builder harassing a 60 year old woman (I am writing this on behalf of my MIL).0 -

I almost got a ticket. I was able to explain the situation to the parking attendant and they didn't issue the ticket.
They called to try and get me a ticket after I had called to get them a ticket (this first time they parked over my driveway).0 -

And that was after you asked them nicely to move the car as you needed access to your drive at the time?0 -

From your own description, it does seem as if you used a sledgehammer to crack a nut, and now it's rebounded and hit you back.
It might be galling, but unless you instigate a de-escalation, I fear this is going to end up being very expensive, both mentally and possibly financially, for both parties.0 -

So really it's a neighbourly dispute - one of those things that give a few hurt feelings yet the Police now spend their time dealing with
If you (or as it now turns out your 60yo MIL) has an issue then follow previous advice re tea/coffee/beer or go full legal with all the stress/cost that'll bring. If it's impacting others then look at more 'vigilante' type action0 -

My street doesn't have resident only restrictions, unlike the the other few streets around me, and it's near to a row of shops. It's pretty common that people park across the driveway.
Instead of confronting and trying to speak to people that see nothing wrong with parking over someone's driveway, I've just decided to call and get them a ticket instead.0 -
