In the first month of me having a meter fitted I took daily readings, then I converted to weekly readings. Water companies always seriously overestimate your usage, they estimated I would use 1 cubic meter of water a week, I use a third of that, so come April my DD will be dropping seriously, 9 months and I've used 14 cubic meters. My meter is just after the internal stopcock. Even at a previous property where the meter was outside I only about 250 to 325 litres per week.
Someone please tell me what money is

    Update!
Leak fixed! hurrah!!! .....here comes the but..........
The guys who fixed it told me the pipe is seriously corroded, especially the underside, so will need replacing sooner rather than later!
I called WW/BW & they said I need to get my own contractor to lay a new pipe within the boundary then they fit the extension!
    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
