    Good morning
Thank you for the lists. I’m in although Monday is usually a bit of a write off. Kitchen tidied last night (forever thankful to Flyladies for starting me on that habit). DW emptied this morning. Clean washing folded. I’ll empty the upstairs bins then it’s off to work.

Keeping fingers and toes crossed for you, Valli.
Narc0 - you carry on sharing. We’ll listen.
    Have a good day all.

Morning all. Welcome newbies and returners.

I'd like to say I'm in this week but I got my deadline wrong for the presentation. It needs to be completed by Wednesday. I've only done 6 subjects out of about 20 and only spent 15 minutes on it on Saturday.

So the first half of the week will be taken up by that around other planned things I can't cancel and the second half of the week will be paid stuff and council meetings.

    Have a great day everyone.

Morning all, welcome newbies and returners.

Good luck for the presentation Jazee!

I’m just about to start paid stuff, dailies are done. I have some errands to run and a few admin tadpoles that are rapidly turning into frogs so I am going to tackle those at lunchtime and in between work and going out this evening.

Have a good day all x

    Extras
Clear your junk table, wipe/polish and return all pretty things.
  • Morning, I'm in this week.

A good weekend, DD came home Saturday night so spent the weekend doing her washing. Saturday morning went to check on boat so that included a very cold walk on the beach a lunch. OH cleaned all filters etc on TD so it's working a bit better but still needs tlc to start.

At home all day today so hope to progress, so far

    Up, showered, dressed
    WM 1
    TD 1
    HHi 1
    Pellet stoves cleaned and reloaded
Downstairs vacuumed (quick whizz round with cordless, but hoping that will keep under control)
    Dining room, tidy
    Kitchen, tidy
Dirty clothes picked up in bedroom
    Bed stripped
    Bedroom aired
    Magasines into recycling

Am hoping that by pottering in the bedroom it will be straight by the end of the day. It was sorted a while ago so more a case of putting stuff away than actually sorting junk out. Also need MUST look at banking and finances

    See you later

    Morning

Ok - so let's see how this week pans out :D

It's my second week with a non-working Monday - and as I didn't make it to work at all last week and my head is all over the place, I'm keen to get in to some sort of routine (fingers crossed no more bugs - and hoping to keep off the six pounds that were decluttered last week! And add to that in a healthy way, The fact that I still don't have the slightest interest in food should help! Maybe I've been taken oven by an alien?)

I'm going to see H at 10 - should be for a coffee, but I'm hoping she'll make tea as I've not graduated back to coffee yet :o On my way home I'll pay the rent and top up Dad's phone as requested - he should be just about on the plane on the runway ready to jet off to sunny Spain for five weeks!

I'll feed the birds, put out the rubbish and replenish Sweetie's seed and water before I go.

    Back later

  • Still going here.

    WM 2
    TD 2
Snack eaten, late breakfast or early lunch
    Email sent
    text sent
Bedroom progressing, half the room now tidied.

Time for coffee and going to update spending sreadsheets
  • WM 3
    TD 3
    Bed remade with clean sheets
Ironing now all cleared and put away
More tidying done, much rubbish to go out so feeling happy
    Phone call made

For a brief moment I imagined that one day I would be able to have people round without feeling totally ashamed. I think I am getting better as it now takes less time to get back on top of the areas that have been properly sorted once.

    So today I have

    Walked the dog
Stripped DD bed as she is now away and emptied her basket for washing
WM x 3 (want to get as much done today as poss as water meter being fitted tomorrow!)
TD x 1 but that didn't go well. New TD arrived yesterday and is lumping, the seal is not done properly and there is a dent in the back. Washing now on radiators and the electric airer to dry
Floors hoovered (including under furniture) in
    Living room x 2
    Hallway
    Dining Room
    Kitchen
    Stairs
    Top hallway
Important phone calls done x 5 - all related to TD. Replacement (upgraded FOC) being delivered on Wednesday (also FOC)
Bins emptied by DH (but not necessarily cleaned out)

Now stopping for a cuppa and cake, made by DH (not the cake, that would be pushing it too far)
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Have just been and vacuumed the bedroom and bathroom. It is tidy except for OHs table and my bedside table neither of which are a big problem but just need to be sorted through. Will probably do mine when I go up to bed and it will depend what time OH comes in tonight. But happy now that doors and drawers all shut and bed and floor are clear.

    WM 4
    TD 4
and starting to see the end of the laundry backlog.

I am very definitely much more productive in the morning than the afternoon. Looking back I got loads done before midday but since then it has been a real slog. I am getting there in sorting this mess out, I am trying to get rooms sorted to how I like them then give them a thorough clean and then keep them that way with a quick daily vacuuming and wiping down of surfaces.

Time for a cup of tea.
