Pizza Express Used Napkin In Salad

Hi, As the title says, I discovered a used napkin in my salad, I think put there deliberately, because I had asked for a new salad as the previous one contained the dressing which I couldn't have because of my egg allergy.

I have taken photos of them. I want to complain to Pizza Express. I can't frankly think of anything more disgusting they could do to their food. I'm NEVER eating at a Pizza Express again and I'm going to tell my friends and family about this.

I feel like I want to wash my mouth out with soap, as the napkin was at the bottom of the salad and I had already eaten some of it, including the food touching the napkin. Washing my mouth with soap obviously wouldn't be enough. I think it's a sick thing to do.

Edited to clarify: It was a Deliveroo delivery order and it was in a box. I had some the day I received it, Thursday 9th, and continued to eat it today and discovered this.

And what did Pizza Express say and do when you complained about it? You must have said something to the server.

How much are you looking for? How do you know it was "used"? Could it have been stained etc. by the salad above it?
Although, I have never experienced having a napkin in a bowl with salad on top.


Was it a Terry napkin, disposable or paper?:p

Did you make it clear on ordering that you did not want egg dressing? Was the inclusion of egg dressing a mistake by them?

How did the delivery go? You received the first salad, realised it contained egg and then re-contacted Deliveroo to request replacement? Could it have been a hacked-off bike delivery person who tampered with the salad?
