oh that is annoying! sorry to hear
  • So my court case is supposed to be tomorrow. I was kind of hoping it would be adjourned again, but let’s see what happens. Any advice?

Sleep well, there's no more you can do now. Unless you haven't yet viewed this YouTube vid.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Read recent court reports on concluded cases , check the advice given to them , check advice or feedback by the defendant , learn from their cases , have pen and paper ready , have a crib sheet with short bullet points , with costs at the bottom in case you win , too late to ask when the ref has left the pitch !!

    any news yet ?
  • I lost. Well, I didn’t lose it all. The judge went in their favour for the actual claim, but refused them the £60 add on and the additional £100 they had added for costs because I didn’t want the hearing on paper.

Shame but you are right, BWL had another car crash with the fake £60 plus £100
On top of that, their time spent, wages for their legal etc etc

BWLEGAL were the real losers, they still don't understand do they

did Napier comply with POFA ?

as a non driver you could only be held liable if they complied with POFA and you had not named the driver

what was the final total to be paid ?

ensure that you pay it , in full , to the claimant , within 30 days, to avoid the CCJ being recorded and your credit file trashed
  • Exactly, I was a non driver and Napier complied with POFA.

I had to pay the £90 charge notice, the £100 costs and £2.50 for interest. So £192.50 in total. Much better than the £425 they asked for. The judge was fair if I'm honest. I've paid the scammers and feel pretty relieved I can just forget it now.

Thank you to all who helped over the months/years.
