Xiaomi Mi2 lite

Got a Xiaomi Mi2 lite and everything been ok however grandchild got hold of phone today and now unable to receive text messages I have taken sim card out and placed in an old i phone 5 and loads of text has come through when I put it back in my Xiaomi Mi2 lite no text can someone please help me.

Open the text app and go to settings from the three dots (top right?)



Make sure that notifications is turned on and that all the settings are as they should be.
