Moving from Three PAYG with £30 credit and porting to Smarty - Do i lose the credit ?
Hi folks
A quick query i cant seem to find answer to
I am with Three PAYG 3-2-1 deal, that has served me well, i usually use about £10 a month.
I saw great off for Smarty £10 per month, unlimted mins/text and 30gb data
I wish to port to Smarty ASAP but i have recently just topped up £30 to my Three PAYG account
My question
If i port with my PAC now to Smarty, Do i lose this £29+ credit forever when number ports? or do Three refund this back to by cheque?
i was with giffgaff years back and got a cheque back for a few pence after i left them.
Any help of advice from anyone who has done this would be appreciated
Many thanks Paul

It is normal to lose all the credit when you port across. You may be able to donate it to charity to avoid losing it.0

As it's recent you can always say that you've added the credit in error and see if they're willing to refund it but not sure how successful you'll be though!0

Last time I moved networks on PAYG i had about £11 in credit that I had no intention of using (it was Three PAYG and they'd dumped Three inTouch as I couldn't get a Three signal, so they dumped inTouch and I dumped Three). so I donated the balance to Children In Need by text, so ultimately I only lost a quid or so myself.0
