Haggling with Virgin Media?

Having seen a 20% price rise in a few months due to expiring discounts, I gave Virgin the annual call. Currently have the Full House package, with Sky Sports add-on.
In the past, by pressing the 'Thinking of Leaving us' option, I've been put through to a UK- based agent with whom you could negotiate.. This time I was put through to an Indian call centre and offered no alternatives to the current price or service.
Have Virgin now removed the haggling option?

Decided to try one last time. Got through again to India and spoke to a lady who said that she was 'Retentions'. She actually offered a £10 per month reduction this time, but this was still higher than the BT price. I asked (again) to be put through to 'Retentions' in the UK and after a little reluctance, she put me through to a chap in South Wales who fixed the price for 12 months at £81.25 instead of the current £103.50 (increasing to £106.50 in July).
He said the best way to speak to UK Retentions is to call 150 from the landline, go through the menu, and 9 times out of 10 you'll be put through to an adviser in the UK.0 -
I have several accounts with Virgin Media because I am a landlord. Their waiting time to answer "I want to leave" calls is huge at the moment. However, with several of the calls, I was automatically offered a price discount after I logged in without ever speaking to an agent.0
