Complete Savings Cashback and Ebay

Hi All,
I received a message today from "Complete Savings" after I made a purchase on Ebay to advise that I was due some cashback on a future purchase. It looks like an obvious scam but I wanted to double check, can anyone confirm?
Thanks in advance

Yes it's just one of the pay monthly club type things. You get them on a lot of sites like Trainline as well as eBay.
They suggest the cashback is connected with your purchase, but it really pays to read the costs outlines in the small print.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The message actually is message on the screen not a personal message - although of course the OP could be talking about something entirely different. The 'message' shows as a small box next to the final payment page and has a clickable link. It is nothing to do with the seller.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I have all adverts on ebay locked down.. Allow just enough access to show the listings.
Ublock Origin and No Script... Used it to block all the adverts and trending items and even suggested items.
I dont need to be forcefed what their computers think that i should buy.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

So have I but very occasionally these cashback sites do still show up as an advert on the final page- I had one recently on a train site when I bought tickets. However nowhere near as many as I used to get- so it might mean I just have to update my settings again. I don't see them hardly at all anymore which is why I can't cut and paste an example for the OP.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Complete Savings Website: Obviously during this awful time, I've been reviewing all my finances. I discovered to my horror £15 a month charged to my credit card, which I've been paying off IN FULL each month.... On contacting the company to find out who they were, it turns out I'd signed up after a booked a Hermes courier (i.e. clicked on a pop up box and they've swiped all my data) I've never used this website and now they've taken all this money from me. Do I have any rights? Anyone else been in the same situation? Thanks for your advice.0

Just discovered that completesave.co.uk have been deducting £15 a month from my 88 year old Dad's credit card. He was completely unaware of this payment and had no idea with it was for. Now trying to get the credit card account closed. Will he get a refund? Unlikely. Having researched this subscription based company, this is clearly a scam, and there are a lot of people being caught out by it. There must be some recourse through or recognition by banks and credit card companies about this problem. If not them, then Trading Standards, Financial Ombudsman, or other regulatory authorities. Vulnerable people MUST be protected and the onus is on our financial institutions to stop these leeches getting rich on them.
