Advice needed for new contract

My contract is ending beginning of February with plusnet they want an extra £5 a month for unlimited broadband and evening and weekend calls. Phoned retentions and they won’t budge. What would you all do just pay up or change providers? Looked at other offers but am confused as to who to go with as I have been with plusnet for 6 years.

I've been with PN for a similar time and find them reasonably competitive with good service. Every time I've found a cheaper supplier, I've been put off, usually by their negative reviews, and I've decided to pay the extra for something I knew was ok. (although PN have bad reviews too.)
The worst I ever had was Talktalk - one to avoid imho0 -
I had TalkTalk a few years ago and I wouldn’t go back to them was wondering about Sky they have a good offer.0

My sky is up a couple of weeks after yours, only ADSL not fibre, been with them since 2008, solid connection, but now need fibre and want to stay but offered me it for £27 last week, there are cheaper offers like voda, plusnet, but scared of jumping ship, its hard sometimes to make the right choice but i am still looking at feedback for various suppliers.0 -

Yes it’s hard to “jump ship” I have never had any problems with plus net if that helps it’s just the fact that they won’t budge for a loyal customer ☹️0 -

I have been looking at plusnet for a while, but sometimes get put off by people on the forum claiming they are poor with billing, maybe only a minority but it gets you thinking.I know all providers have customers who complain about something hence the jumping ship comment.0
