MPD do 2GB for £3.50 (with redemption too), but with a cheap phone that you can sell, and ~£50 TCB cashback. So, the effective cost is close to zero.

When you take the VeryMe rewards ( I know, this is not guaranteed to keep going), like today's free Costa coffee worth £2.65, into account, I think the Vodafone deal is still pretty good.

They now do the same deal but with 1GB for £3 per month.
