There’s no joint loans or anything so I don’t understand it.
I am mums executor and I wondered if it was because I will own her share of the property once the Will is settled. And my other half could be because we’ve been looking at getting a mortgage
If you’ve have not got a credit agreement with someone – for example, a credit card or mortgage – then a link should not be created. As stated by zx81, you need to contact the three CRAs, if they are incorrectly linking you with someone else and recording you as financial associates.

Did you make any joint mortgage application / did you ask for a quotation? That would explain why an association with your partner shows an your files.

Do the credit files not show which lender created the financial association?
  • Ever had a joint utility bill as that creates a link too.

I would say that it's joint bills - council tax maybe? Water, power, gas bills?

Financial associations don't tend to show up by pure coincidence, especially when it's someone you know!
