Catering costs for a party

We had fish & chips delivered for 100 for a party - the shop made 2 trips (and serve in natty cardboard boxes so no plates needed) and we had mushy peas in slow cookers for folk to help themselves. Veggi option was just chips....
We did bhajis & samosas for starters (that were delivered still warm) and Krispy Creme towers for desert!1 -
Our local (gluten free) fish and chip van would be £8 per head. They cater for our pop-up pub and have no problems in dealing with 100+ guests. Not everyone wants to eat at the same time.... For my daughters evening wedding-do we had a cheese 'cake'... i.e. stack of cheeses and boxes of savoury biscuits, help yourself, very little cost per head.
#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3661
