Advice on Back to Wall Toilets/Concealed Cisterns

  • If I read it right you are trying to reduce the distance from the front of the pan to the wall, if that's right then by the time the cistern is boxed the pan is likely to be further out than a standard close coupled one

    The concealed cistern I've gone for is a Geberit which is 8cm depth and can fit within a frame to save mms, even after tiles that should be pretty narrow. I've not really seen any close coupled toilets that I've liked either tbh, and so this should solve both problems.

    Luckily we found a back to wall toilet on sale at Al Murad (discontinued - we had to get the showroom one!) which fits the bill too. Thanks again for all of your advice :beer:

    I'm just glad I can stop googling toilets and watching Youtube videos of people fitting cisterns now (yes I know). I wish I didn't overthink this stuff.

    Good luck with it. I have a Gerberit that was installed about 13 years ago. It is currently on its third set of innards. Useless.
