Fine cancelled clause

If they dont have a clear photo of the driver they cannot persue the charge.
So if the photo they send doesnt show the driver, eg night, sunlight reflections etc. You do NOT have to tell them who was driving. You have to tell them that you are under no legal obligation to identify rhe driver and they will drop the charge.

I suggest you read a bit more on here and get better acquainted with the real facts.
Maybe start with the POFA and look into ANPR for starters, then the newbies tread.

Cheques signed with a 'wet signature' no doubt! :D
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Possibly from the same school of journalism that BBC staff now attend.

Just listened to an item on R4 You and Yours talking about car park fines.

    Were there any fines involved?

    No, none.

I am old enough to recall when the BBC used to check things like facts but that was a long time ago, sadly.
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid

It was regarding new guidelines from the BPA who say that people who genuinely incorrectly put in their number plate details will have to pay "only" a £20 charge for admin and not the charge as issued.
