earliest time to check for new deals

My BT contract runs out 10th Feb 2020. How long before that date should I start looking around for a better deal so I can either switch or haggle with BT for a better deal? Is it too early now?

You can look
But BT will want paying up to due date if you switch .
Can be worth looking at your BT member page to see if they are offering anything .
BT will probably notify you anytime now that your contracts is soon to end .Usually with an offer for new contract .0
