Not exactly no, and £4k isn't cheap to a just turned 17 year old student, we haven't tried to negotiate anything with them, we've asked on here for advice after being made promises and lied to by being told they'd look after him post sale and that there were no advisories. But thank you for your input!
I'll seek advice elsewhere, I was asking for advice as this is all a little beyond me, not to get condescending remarks it's neither nice nor helpful.
