You should be saying ''I am the lessee and I know you don't use the POFA, so cancel it'' pretty much! Also you will need to attach evidence from your employer that they have agreed that you, the lessee, can appeal this Notice (DO NOT LET THEM PUT 'DRIVER').
Hi Coupon,
This is one of Edna’s templates from the Newbie thread pretty much, I’ve just added a paragraph to mention the 3 hours free parking to make it more relevant.
Questions...
So I add the part you mention re, “I know that you don’t use POFA” etc.
But, I’m confused about the bit you mention when you say that my employer shouldn’t mention anything. I thought that it was me that should be uploading this onto the appeals site of Smart Parking. Is that not the case?0 -

Imagine being Smart Parking, with a NTK sent to ABC Ltd at company address, and an appeal comes in randomly from 'Joe Bloggs at your house'. See the problem?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Coupon,
Thanks for clarifying and I am sorry to cause a problem. It’s embarrassing but I’m afraid that I suffer from an inability to process information due to an accident I had a couple of years ago. I can look at information and try to understand it one day, and not understand it at all. Another day I find that I understand the same info a little more, and later on during the same day it’s gone again.
The NTK is in my employers name.
I’ll review and will try to put something together that works.
Things like this I find particularly difficult to process because it’s new and out of my normal routine.0 -
It will work if you just use my wording, or a version like this:

...and attach proof that you are authorised to appeal for ABC Company Ltd (the place you work). This is the point you need to show Smart WITHOUT saying who was driving.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What proof do I need from my employer?
Using the wording from your link provided is difficult for
me to integrate with what I’ve created already and doesn’t seem as relevant perhaps to my car being a company car that is leased?
I know I shouldn’t say this but I really can see why people just pay. I’m easily rattled these days and I’ve not slept well since trying to deal with this. The level of frustration I feel not being able to properly understand things of this nature now days just makes me feel like I’m best off paying the £100 for peace of mind.
It’s a shame there isn’t a charity that you can donate the same amount of the fine to in exchange for a fully tailored response to these thieves. That way at least the money would be going towards a good cause. Sadly in my case the bad guys are going to win because I’m out of time.0 -
Then use the one above
All you need is a letter from a company officer on headed paper stating you are the Hirer and you are authorised to deal
OR
You respond anyway, from the company address, instead f your address. As long as the mail will then go to you and not to someone else.
Theyre not going to just win. Stop giving up!0 -

That was also about Smart Parking and they are the easiest ones to win, and we've given you two examples of what to put in an appeal (you have two fully tailored responses). Choose one. Either will do, and you will win.
All you needed to attach, of course, if a letter or email from the keeper who the NTK is addressed to, saying you are authorised to appeal, as lessee of the vehicle.Sadly in my case the bad guys are going to win because I’m out of time.PRIVATE 'PCN'?
