[STRIKE]They know your employer is the Registered Keeper of the vehicle because the DVLA told them so.
You however, are the keeper at the time of the alleged parking event.
Umkomaas has suggested that you get the Registered Keeper to tell the PPC that you were the keeper at the time of the event.
Read the definition of "keeper" in paragraph (2) of Schedule 4 of The Protection of Freedoms Act:
[/STRIKE]“keeper” means the person by whom the vehicle is kept at the time the vehicle was parked, which in the case of a registered vehicle is to be presumed, unless the contrary is proved, to be the registered keeper;0 -

I see. Thank you. Should my employer write to them or email? And what should it say roughly?0 -

No need to be rude. It's called helping someone out. I am unfamiliar with the site and couldn't find it.0 -

Nothing rude there my friend, the more you learn to search and use the forum fully, the better you will be able to deal with this.
We have already provided you with step-by-step guidance, but this is a self help forum, not an online chat line support facility, as in ask a question, get an answer by return, no effort required. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

The problem is my employer is a sole trader and I was a named driver under his policy if the vehicle. I don't won't him to have to deal with this as it was not him driving. I need to know if he writes to them telling them I was the 'keeper' at the time, will the case be passed on to me?0

It should be passed on to you, but no one can guarantee how parking companies might react.
Why not type out the Edna Basher letter for your boss to sign and then send it off for him, because unless he does that, he will continue to be pestered and passing letters on to you will not bring this to a halt for him, unless you pay up - and no one here is recommending that. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. [STRIKE]Perhaps you need to read more of POFA.
It effectively states that if the Registered Keeper supplies the name and serviceable address of the day to day keeper to the PPC then liability remains with the day to day keeper.
That in turn means that the PPC can no longer chase your employer.
Unfortunately, the PPC will chase anyone and everyone in the search for money. If they see that either you or your employer have no idea about what is going on, they will continue the pursuit.[/STRIKE]0
