Letter from TNC parking services

Hi guys, I checked the the newbies thread and couldn't find enough information to help me so I'm going to post in hopes of some information.
A couple of months ago I received a PCN from a private car park, I was the driver of the vehicle but I am not the registered keeper of it. The vehicle belongs to my employer, so all letters were sent to his address. The latest letter was from TNC parking services who have took the case over from the car park company. They are demanding £170 in 7 days or else they will recommend that their client takes legal action. I would like to know of my employer is legally responsible for this debt or is it me?

Your employer is responsible as Keeper if the vehicle is in their name and if Handypark complied with POFA for issues in England and Wales

Why has your employer not passed on details for the hirer or lessee ? (you , as keeper on the day) ?

    Handy park

Is this in Northern Ireland? If the letter is in your name, ignore it. Please read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #4 about how to deal with debt collectors.

Come back on this thread if you get court papers - HandyPark brag on their website that they are the only PPC in NI to issue court proceedings. Let's see!

I'm not sure if these replies are going directly to the user. This is for Redx...... I suppose my employer has just been too busy to tell them that I was the driver or perhaps he thought that I would sort the payment out.

It's your employer's problem, not yours.

Get him to write to HandyPark (and maybe TNC) to tell them that you were the vehicle's keeper (not driver) and for them to transfer the charge to you. Then you ignore it.

There is no keeper liability in NI, and as long as the driver isn't identified, there's nowt HandPark or TNC can do about it.

Appreciate the reply. Do they not already know that he was the keeper of the vehicle as they have contacted DVLA for the information?
