PPI Claim - Fast Track Reclaim

2

Comments

  • Hi, I engaged Fast track for PPI claim but never thought it would be successful however I have now received a letter from my bank stating that a claim has been agreed and it had the fastback ref number on it. The letter states the total claim is just under £4000 but that as it was a joint account I will be sent half and my ex partner will be sent the other half. I have no objection to him receiving half of the reward but I know the fees are 20% plus VAT but does this mean I will be responsible for the fees on his share as well as my own as I instigated the claim?

You'll pay the fees on the full amount.

So you'll lose around half of your share.
  • Thanks for confirming. Not what I wanted to hear but I did suspect that.

Not necessarily, some CMCs will charge for what you actually ‘receive’ rather then the full amount if it’s a situation like this and they haven’t received an instruction from the other party

We have had an Invoice from Fast Track Reclaim with no information just a case reference number.  Just googled them and they have absolutely shocking reviews on various sites and it seems this is  something they do all the time.  we can’t remember signing any paperwork for them so it is all a mystery but they are asking for nearly £500.

You’ll likely have signed up for a ‘free PPI check’ via an advert on Facebook and provided a signature that way.

ask them for a copy of your contract before you pay them.

Fast Track Reclaim are spamming the forums with tripe which is clearly from an employee
i agree and they shouldn’t do this. No CMC should ever be employed, Ill health or no, because you’ll always end up doing more work, having more aggro and then handing over a large portion of cash to them for sweet FA.

Fast Track Reclaim are a highly professional and competent firm who pursued a claim on my behalf. Whilst normally I would have done this myself I was unable to because of serious health issues over the past 18 months, therefore I decided to appoint FTR to deal with the matter for me. They were diligent in dealing with the matter and achieved a very satisfactory result.

I have done extensive searches and FastTrack Reclaim have really terrible reviews, really terrible.  People say they hound and pester them, send them repeated invoices, threaten them with taking them to court.  If they were genuine surely they would reply to emails and they would readily supply copies of contracts or at the very least tell you who the claim is with.

Have done this but they don’t reply.

You might want to remove the quoted post from viewcart as it’s now been deleted as it was spam
