I've not been affected by this (yet!); people who have could try the following approach (personalise as you see fit); bear in mind where you have submitted in information whether accepted or not Swagbucks and/or their clients have your personal data, you are within you (legal) rights to request that your data been deleted.  I'm taking what people have said at face value and assume that people have been 100% honest (have seen people admit on here in the past that they have blatantly lied!):

"I am sorry that you have have restricted (or banned, "if appropriate") me from taking Gold surveys.  I assure you that I have always acted and will continue to act with integrity when using your platform.  Whilst I am more than disappointed that you have made this decision, under the circumstances, I formally request under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and/or prevailing United States or international data protection law, that you and/or your clients remove the personal data I have provided from your/their systems, through surveys where data has been completed or rejected over the last [x] months )pick a time period, 3 months would not be unreasonable but use judgment in picking the timeframe) and confirm you have done so within the 14-day statutory period. 
For the avoidance of doubt, I make this formal in respect of all surveys where I have responded where you or your clients retain any of my personal date whatsoever.
I regret having to act in this manner, however, in the absence of information from you specifically setting out what I have done to warrant the action you have taken in restricting access to surveys, I have little choice, I am sure that you appreciate my position."

Be prepared to follow up if you get a negative response with a reply along the lines of:

Thank your response to my request that you remove my personal data from your and/or your clients systems.  You will be aware that you and/or your clients have a legal obligation to remove personal data upon request.

Note: In some cases you may have given permission at the start of surveys, just keep that in the back of your mind as it may affect the legal position - leave them point it out! 
Keep correspondence polite - friendly but formal.  They will have to carefully consider their response.

I know nothing of actually doing such things but I would point out that that although a good idea, that sounds very final to me, and of course it should be asked that the request is extended to all their partners. However I'm pretty sure that they get to choose who they interact with and  then this would be a final step, and the ban would be permanent.
I don't know whether it had an effect, and it may well have been marmaladeatkins from last year, but I recall someone asking sb  for details of the inconsistencies or other problems that had caused the ban and then challenging it and getting reinstated. I asked a similar question and got my Gold surveys reinstated without further comms, albeit with a dire warning that I wouldn't get another chance. It doesn't make me feel wonderfully proud of myself, but it does continue the aim of keeping my earning options open, so I would suggest trying similar first.

Thanks for this suggestion, I’ve just replied to ask for some examples of where I’ve submitted wrong answers as to my knowledge I haven’t and don’t want to make the same mistake going forward.

Instant surveys appear randomly on the front page for a limited time and can only be completed on mobile devices.

Thanks for that piece of information.
I've had one crop up recently (ie displayed on home page) but then didn't open.  Think that explains it.  No more instant surveys for me (laptop is mobile enough for me!).

Anyone else struggling to scrape any swagbucks today? I've still got 29SB to go until I hit today's goal, and I've already played the game, done the one ncrave I could get to work for 7SB, exhausted Theorem Reach and Adgate Media surveys as well as peanutlab and gold. Hideout tv never seems to work for me as the adverts don't load.

I really struggled, more than I had done for years.  I have plenty of Hideout points, but I wanted to save them for next week, to be sure of hitting a higher goal during the Swago.  But surveys were notable by their absence, whether Gold or Peanuts or Home Page or Theorem Reach or other Discovery options.  Finally, just about an hour ago, I found a 30SB survey on Gold, which said it would take 20 minutes and actually took about 25 - it was one of those end-to-end Tickbox ones, and I reckon it must have been at least 20 mini-surveys.  But it credited, and that put me just over the daily target.  Whew!

Did this a long time ago, but it was something like go to Adscendmedia, open a video, such as food, log in, click on the rewards button on on the right should be the option to link to sb?
