I hadn't realised until this week just how many companies there are specialising in refurbished computers -it's is quite an eye opener. I must say I would never have considered one before, but as they come with a warranty, I have decided why not.:)Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -
Sorry, I've only scan read the thread, but this is MSE ... you have something that isn't broken so you want to spend money to replace it???

I would rather keep it but it is on Windows 7 and therefore will soon be left without support:(Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -
Ah, they either get them for free, but in some case they charge the companies for removal - two bites of the cherry. Dell etc often charge much more for support of their old stock, so new ones are often purchased especially as they have no financial worth around 4-5 years.I hadn't realised until this week just how many companies there are specialising in refurbished computers -it's is quite an eye opener. Gigarefurb's price seems OK, the other two are overpriced0 -
To buy a genuine copy of Windows 10 is now quite expensive, plus an SSD drive.
The £169 is the total cost of the replacement computer with Windows 10 already installed, it isn't fabricated:(Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0
