Confused By Virgin Media

I contacted Virgin Media yesterday to get the Broadband and telephone deal on offer for £27 only to be told there are 'no cables running to the property'....I know this is incorrect because Virgin Media was active up until November 2019 when the contract was cancelled by me!!! My question is does anybody know the reason why I am being told this by Virgin???

Nothing confusing. VM have a 3 month rule. You may have a good reason for leaving for just over s month but you cant rejoin them as a new customer within 3 months. Likewise you cant get a wife/husband/partner/friend to sign up for the new customer offer.
Maybe they will let you rejoin under existing customer terms0 -
don't think that's entirely true. probably you cannot sign up back within 3 months as a new customer (never tried that) but can certainly have another person connect at the same address. have done this in the past without any issues.
