Flat only has Sky TV or BT Broadband lines - any alternatives?

Hi

My new build flag has only a shared Sky TV satellite on the roof and BT broadband lines setup - I don’t know why they didn’t at least do it with the same provider, so I could get a multi buy discount package
I was wondering, is there any alternatives to me like with mobile phones where another network shares the signal

Sky use BT lines for their Broadband offering.

Do you have Fibre to the Premises?

If you have an Openreach full fibre service, ie fibre to the premises, then any ISP can offer services over that if they want to, however, most of the big players do not yet do so. BT do, Sky and TalkTalk are de to, there are other, smaller providers that do.

Do you know which smaller ones?
I can’t seem to find any at all

Zen and A&A possible but may not be cheaper than BT . Put your postcode into the BB checker .
If its a new build then no other ISP may have decided to use the service for as of yet .
FTTP BT OpenReach supply it and its open to any ISP to choose to use this service . Sky do not supply the pipework but are free to use it or not .

I’ve used some broadband checkers that use your postcode to show only elegible providers, and then when you click through to the provider, they don’t supply - hence why I came here for any tips

In that case you are stuck until another supplier wants to supply you through BT FTTP network .
