MSE forum users have previously reported that you can open one of each issue simultaneously,
Thanks for your work on this thread SS2, particularly the heads up on this account, although I think I'll wait for the next issue at 5%.0 -
I think I'll wait for the next issue at 5%.
Well, if you have children then your wait will come to an end tomorrow.
From emoneyfacts:Prinicipality BS: DYLAN'S CHILDREN'S REGULAR SAVER will be launched w.e.f. 13.8.09: a one year fixed term fixed rate regular savings account with a minimum monthly investment of £10 (maximum £150) paying 5.00% on maturity. Early closure permitted without penalty. 12 consecutive payments required, reverting to Children's account if payment missed. Additional payments can be made provided maximum monthly investment is not breached. Payments can be amended during the term. Available to those aged up to 16.

About time too, children's savings rates have certainly had a raw deal for a long time apart from the Halifax one!0

Hi Folks,
I have double checked everything and there is nothing further to add for this weekend's update.
All the best,

New Norwich & Peterborough reggy saver available paying 5%:

Hi Everybody,
I have updated the first page of this thread:
- Added the Norwich and Peterborough Regular Saver account to post 4 (the third account on that list). The terms and conditions are relatively good and if you miss a payment or make more than 1 withdrawal then you still get 3.5% gross interest which is pretty good at the moment. I am not clear on whether the bonus interest rate is fixed or variable. Under product info, it says "Make 12 consecutive monthly payments and no more than one withdrawal in a year and you could get 5.00% gross/AER*** fixed for 12 months - this includes a 1.5% bonus." but a bit lower down it says "N&P reserves the right to vary the bonus rate at any time."
- Earlier this week, I moved the NatWest and RBS regular savers from post 4 to post 5 as they require the customer to open a current or savings account and keep this open throughout the 12 month period
Nothing else to add, delete or change as far as I can see.
Have a good weekend,

So Monday last week I rang them to send me the details and was told
that it was going live on their website around midday. By the end of the day it was still not there and eventually there on Tuesday. As I had
requested the form to posted to me, I waited and waited. Nothing has
arrived and there is no longer any Dylan Regular Saver on their website.
Anyone know what is happening? Was it a one week wonder?0 -

It is there if you type Dylan into the search box

They redesigned the website over the last week so maybe there is some fine tuning left to do. The boxes that show each product work fine in Internet Explorer but don't show at all in Firefox.

Thanks for that. In the end I rang them and they agreed it is no longer showing on their website clicking through any of their savings links, so IT will be told at 9 a.m. today so they can amend it. Thanks for your link, which has now enabled me to print my own application.0
