Nottingham Building Society have launched a new regular saver, called Special Regular Saver (issue 6). It pays 2.50% interest.

It allows you to pay in between £10 - £500 per month and matures on 28 February 2019. No withdrawals are allowed until after maturity.

The account can only be opened in branch.

The account has been launched to celebrate the opening of new branches in Stamford, Spalding, Huntingdon, Thetford, Dereham and Fakenham.

Update: The account will be available to open from Monday 6th November 2017.

    Further details here.

The offer seems to be for 'new' customers only from the wording. If you're in with the Tiger I assume you can't do this as well.

Not what I was advised this morning.

Branch only - and for new or existing customers at any branch.

I called The Nottingham this morning to find out when the account was to be launched (see my update above regarding that) and they confirmed to me that the account could be opened by new AND existing customers.

  • Hi Folks,

There is a belated update as I was too busy to do it this weekend just gone. Having said that, I cannot find anything that has changed and I will do another update this coming weekend.
