Hi Everybody,
Here is this weekend's update.
- Note placed in entry for the Santander Regular eSaver (issue 4) indicating the interest rate will rise to 5% from tomorrow according to many MSE forum users in post 7
Many thanks to all the forum users who to continue to make useful posts on this thread with helpful information.

I opened one this evening and it's showing as 5% already, SO won't pay-in until tomorrow at the earliest so will be on or after 3rd April, which presumably explains the rate being 5% already.
Santander's systems update at around 8:17pm and rolls over to the next day (including Saturdays but excluding Sundays) which means anything done after then on a given day counts as being done on the next day (including for interest for that day).0 -
My Regular esaver Issue 4 still showing as 2.5%,no reply to my SC yet. Will ring later ...although I suspect if Martin is on TV today getting through might not be easy.0

Santander won't let me open the Issue 4 until my previous reg. saver ( issue 1)matures on 13th April, even tho' I've made the 12 monthly deposits!0

Why the exclamation mark? Any other bank allowing you to have more than one regular saving accounts with enhanced rate?
Yes, you made the last deposit - and you are earning the high rate on it, as well as on the previous ones.0 -
