When I tried to open my RS issue 4 online, it kept blocking me from proceeding, showing a supposed error with my mobile number. I checked it was correct, tried again several times without success. I resigned myself to having to open it in branch, but then rang up. I was advised to take out the phone number altogether, and this worked! The girl stayed on the line till it was complete, which included getting an OTP on the said mobile.
Hope this helps someone.0 -

Have just checked online and my Issue3 Reg Saver had disappeared so I've gone through the process to open an Issue4 online.BUT I tried to initially make a slight adjustment to my address ( slight ) and it kept giving me an error telling me the date I was putting in when I moved to this address was wrong...it wasn't.
I started again from the beginning without trying to make any changes and have got to the end with a ref no and e-mail confirmation of application.
Up to 3 working days before you know if application accepted but honestly wonder what will happen on Monday or when Martin mentions all this in his weekly e-mail or on TV.0 -
interesting, I didn't have to hear the spiel about the compensation, and the product T&C's, but I did have to produce my ID, as it was a new product...
Funny how things work in other branches.
I've always thought the perfect ID is the production of two passbooks for accounts you've opened before, having gone through the formal ID at least once.
But I suppose they have boxes to tick that they have done what they should and most are conscientious. My lad just used objective common sense I think.0 -

Is it OK to open an eSaver now or am I best waiting for the rate to rise to 5% before doing so? Thanks0
