the savings rate on that account (for new customers presumably?) is still showing at the old rate.

Same e-mail from Santander just arrived.

Stoozie1 - it's from 3rd April, so I would imagine if it's available to new savers that it will update on Monday.

I have phone Santander......confirmed genuine. Only £200 a month and one account though!

I've had the same email from Santander.

First time in ages that I've been notified of an INCREASE in the rate on an existing account. I thought at first the date today must be April 1st.

I don't get this. I've two of these taken out 10 months ago at an advertised rate of 5%. Are you saying that at some point the rate affecting my accounts was reduced? I thought they were fixed at the time you opened them?
