  • Yes that one is still showing, but you can have multiple regular savers with Principality so you could have Issue 12 and the Christmas edition.

I am aiming for higher than 3.5% at the moment, the Cheshire and Derbyshire accounts paying 5% are very very good and 6 issues so far this year! Although I don't have one of each.

Gers I see that you are going to a Derbyshire branch this week, I am not sure of your route but Cheshire have branches near the M6.

Thanks, I come down the east coast on the M1 however will check out the logistics of taking a different route.

I've already got Dunfermline Platinum (issue 1) and a Derbyshire Platinum (issue 5) accounts so will do the Derbyshire issue 6 one next week.

I live in North Midlands and on Monday had an afternoon off from work. I went to Nantwich Cheshire B.S. and opened Issue 6 and then went to Ashbourne Derbyshire B.S. and opened Issue 6 there.

I did not make an appointment for either, but the Derbyshire sent me the passbook through the post, which I got yesterday.

Just a reminder that the Nottingham BS are removing their Heartland (5% and max per month £250) account today and introducing a 6% (max £100) one tomorrow.

    Hope this helps some

PS Source are - online adviser and a local branch

Would you happen to know if they intend to continue the application of the 'trading area only' residence qualification to the new one ?

    Thanks Ted

Sorry I don't know. Guess it'll be online tomorrow or the branch staff may know today.
  • If anyone like me was desperate enough to open a Derbyshire NetSaver Issue 1 (3.11%), then it matures on 30/11/12.
The rate after maturity will not now be the promised 1% but has been increased, wait for it............. to 1.5% :rotfl:

Do you think still worth to keep it even at 1.5%?!

I don't suppose anybody knows of a way of opening this account without going into a branch? I'm nowhere near the Nottingham area.
