If you need to go to bed then go, maybe set an alarm for three hours time so you sleep tonight?
  • Feel better soon Buffy. I've just been catching up on your diary. I too am frustrated about school and not knowing what's happening from one day to the next.
We also had staff leave and so have the threat of a whole new timetable. It was supposed to be out by the end of term but wasn't.
If I think about it too much I start to freak out.
Instead I shall do house stuff. I had a shower and feel a bit better. Am sat watching Inside out before I make a plan re house. I definitely need a place to work urgently. and so much recycling.........hmm.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

That is a very good idea. Yesterday and the day before I had a nap that turned into nearly 5 hours of sleep................

Confession - I love Hercule Poirot. LOVE him. And Sherlock Holmes.
I feel a bit better and have been pottering. Planning............thinking.
    Rough Goals for 2021
    1. BUY A HOUSE. And I do mean house. not a flat. Dream BIG.
    - save  a minimum of 700 pounds each month towards this
    - plus sell a few bits/ try to make some money - mainly to teach me the value of money again!!
    - might tutor too if I can.
    2. Be happy and appreciate good things
    - Write about them in my journal, make a point of eating nice food and seeing nice people as often as possible.
    3. Continue to declutter and organise my stuff and the garden
    - I don't think I have much left, it is all more the organising now although I am sure I will find more stuff to go.
    4. Have a relationship with a man. I would really like some fun ;):)
    5. Travel - if we are ever allowed!
    Nevertheless she persisted.

I love it when you come up with plans 😁 It’s that time of year for a fresh start, new goals. Hopefully 2021 will be the start of us all emerging from the fog of COVID and start living again. I really hope you meet a nice bloke and have some fun. A work colleague of mine had quite a bit of success with dating apps last year, she was spoiled for choice and treated very well, she’s a lot older than you too. Fingers crossed 🤞
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • I share some of your goals... Am starting to think that I would like to start seeing someone as well - the problem being that I'm way too introverted and lacking in self esteem to ever go there.
However, I will be back on the dieting and budgeting bandwagon again. As I always am.

I have often said if Amazon did boyfriends I would never be single!
