Just sending you a massive hug 🤗 Really didn’t realise rabbits were such divas. You love them though and I assume they make you happy so they’re worth the expense xx
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Also sticking to cats!
Sorry to hear you aren't getting the support you deserve Buffy.  Happy isn't a competition or a cake - how much one person has doesn't make anyone else less deserving.  Everybody deserves and needs their own joy.
Re the rabbits, if the solo thing is a problem then is there any way you could prepare for that and see if anyone would take one when the other has gone?  That would potentially leave you free as you prepare for a move.
Big virtual hugs and virtual cake (which fortunately also always has enough for everyone)
    Rosa xx

that is such a lovely thing to say Rosa thank you XXX
I am this rabbit's 3rd home. I just don't give up on them. In my own place I would rabbit proof an area or the whole flat and it wouldn't be the problem it is here. I mean wildest dreams time I might have a garden! Here I need to keep them shut in one room away from the dogs etc. hence the outdoor area for them.
Joy. I shall work on that. XXX

When I come in from work they both run up to see me. The girl in particular will stick her head under your hand or foot if that is all she can reach for a fuss, when I wake up in the morning at least one of them is there if I stick my hand out. I was sweeping today with dustpan and brush and she biffed them out of my hand so I was free to stroke her. She hates being picked up but is getting better. She is beautiful, like a leggy supermodel and cracks me up when she gets on top of things and panics about how to get down - landing all legs all over the place.
My boy.. oh my poor sweet boy. He has been through so much. poked and prodded and jammed full of drugs. He likes a cuddle and a stroke but is not a getter on of things, not at all. He likes the floor. Big fan of the floor :) having no front teeth makes things a bit tricky. He has to be hand fed with some food and nearly everything upsets his stomach. But quite often regardless of what food you have he wants a fuss and then girl bun comes over to shove him out of the way. So yes although they are hugely messy and fussy I do love them.

  • Right so work continues to be surreal experience. Can be in a class six times a day no worries but can't see my two friends and their kids. Ok then.
I don't fully understand the current approach to covid but that feels like a cop out to say that. SO I shall just move on. I am watching Beauty and the Beast a bit of escapism. The hutch won't fit into the car so I sat and thought and thought and I have come up with an idea that means I don't need to buy it so shall request a refund.
I also returned two items of clothes I bought. I am getting very strict about returning things these days. Moneywise I will be in credit on the CC and haven't bought anything to use it up bar a 5 pound nightdress on Amazon.
I shall now enjoy the end of Beauty and Beast XX

The Covid rules are all over the place, no idea what we’re meant to be doing other than no more than 6. But you can go to work with any number of random people 😩

  • Ugh. Have felt sick all day and tired. Tried to sort some stuff in the garden, got fed up very quickly. Am SICK OF THE GARDEN and have decided to get a handyman in to finish the aviary and roof. And got someone to collect the rubbish I have been collecting. I can only do what I can do and I need to get a bloody shift on!

I had a few days of feeling sick 2 weeks ago, it was awful. Good idea to get a man who can in to finish the work off, can’t do everything yourself.
